AROME surface data where available; automatic ECMWF fallback for locations outside AROME coverage
📡 Smart Model Selection:
AROME (Météo-France HD, 1.5 km) is used for surface wind data where available.
For locations outside AROME coverage the tool automatically falls back to
ECMWF IFS (9 km) and the wind table columns adjust accordingly.
Data Sources & Logic:
1. 🟢 AROME (primary): 10 m · 20 m · 50 m — table shows Wind Dir / 10 m / 20 m / 50 m
2. 🔵 ECMWF (fallback): 10 m · 100 m · 200 m — table switches to Wind Dir / 10 m / 100 m / 200 m
3. 🌍 GFS (always): Pressure levels 975–750 hPa + Planetary Boundary Layer height
4. 🕐 Timezone: All times display in the selected timezone
